We arrange these tours in small groups to allow you to get a 'real' feel of the school environment, walking into classrooms. Photography is not allowed for obvious reasons. We sincerely look forward to showing you where our children grow and shine.

The school was built in 1929. Over the years there have been many building works/alterations in order to provide our children with the best possible facilities. Harold Court is a large school in size but has a warm and friendly feel. There are three playgrounds and a large field - as well as our very own nature reserve.

In 1985 the Friends of Harold Court School built a new library which has since been renovated and is now a 'learning zone' for group work and interventions. In 2008 Havering Council built a new wing on the school to provide us with new classrooms and toilets. In 2013 due to the need to expand schools due to the rise in numbers of children living in Havering, the school expanded again. We have just opened the doors to a wonderful new admin and entrance area where you can sit comfortably, as well as 4 beautiful new classrooms and an extension to one of the halls.

From September 2013 we have space for 420 pupils as the school will be increasing to 2-form entry, meaning there will be space for 60 children across 2 classes in each year group. Our youngest children are four years old and our oldest are eleven. Currently we have 416 children on roll and numbers are increasing steadily.

The staff and Governors are dedicated to promoting a caring, supportive, inclusive and vibrant learning environment. The teaching staff work hard to deliver a curriculum that is exciting, challenging and fun. We offer high quality teaching and learning opportunities that enable children to fullfil their true potential and develop a love for learning.

We provide an excellent range of extra curricular and enrichment activities that we hope your child will take full advantage of during their time at Harold Court. As parents your views are very important to us and we endeavour to develop strong links between home and school.

The school is approximately three miles from Romford and nineteen miles from the centre of London. We are a ten minute walk away from Harold Wood shops and railway station and less than a mile from Junction 28 of the M25 and the A12.

Harold Court Primary School is a community school in Harold Wood, close to the eastern boundary of the London Borough of Havering.

The school is arranged in 15 classes:
